ATA Sponsors Briefing for Members of Congress re: National Licensure
You may have been wondering when this was going to happen, but recent events are making a sea-change toward national licensure more of an reality as our lawmakers are steadily being drawn into the public eye.
On January 31st, there was a briefing for members of Congress outlining the problems related to our current system of licensing. The Congressional briefing was sponsored by the American Telemedicine Association.
These are essentially the same issues we’ve been discussing for years, but it is heartening and bodes well to see them being presented to Congress in such a strong multi-disciplinary voice.
Speaking of voice, please express your below. How will removing this particular barrier to telehealth influence your adoption of telehealth technology for your work?
