Write Your Own DLT Grant Workshop
The UMTRC staff is often asked about grants to cover the costs for telehealth equipment. In response to these requests, we have partnered with Learn Design Apply, Inc. to host a free grant writing workshop for the United States Rural Utilities Services Distance Learning & Telemedicine Grant (USDA DLT Grant). This one-day workshop will cover the basics of this program as well as tips and tricks to putting all of the worksheets together for a successful submission. Join us for this nuts and bolts event!

Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio Reimbursement Summaries
One of the most common questions the UMTRC staff answers is whether or not a specific service will be reimbursed via telemedicine. The answer to this depends on several things. First, what type of insurance will be billed? Medicare? Medicaid? If Medicaid, which state? Private/Commercial Insurance? If so, which state? The UMTRC staff makes every effort to continuously update our state reimbursement summaries as changes are made in the states in our region. UMTRC Stakeholder Calls
As part of our outreach efforts, the UMTRC has hosted virtual stakeholder calls with each state in our region every 4th month for the last several years. Beginning in 2020, these calls will be hosted quarterly and will include all states (IL, IN, MI, and OH).
