Thank You, HRSA!
On September 1, 2019, the Upper Midwest Telehealth Resource Center begins its 9th year as a Telehealth Resource Center (TRC). Since our inception in 2011, we have hosted over 70 monthly stakeholder calls and responded to over 1,200 requests for Technical Assistance. None of this would be possible without our funding from the Office for Advancement of Telehealth (OAT), under the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy, and the Health Resources & Services Administration, under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Featured in the picture above, left to right, are: Stephanie Begley (SAT TNGP), Sadie Silcott (Deputy Director), Carlos Mena (SB-TNGP), Whitney Wiggins (EB-THNP), Bill England (Director), Collen Morris (TH COE), Natassja Manzanero (TRC), and Monica Cowan (LPGP).
OAT programs, in addition to the 12 Regional TRCs and 2 National TRCs, include:
Telehealth Network Grant Program (TNGP)
Substance Abuse Treatment Telehealth Network Grant Program (SAT TNGP)
Evidence-Based Tele-Behavioral Health Network Program (RB THNP)
Telehealth Centers of Excellence (COE)
Flex Rural Veterans Health Access Program (RVHAP)
Licensure Portability Grant Program (LPGP)
