This workshop will cover several basic topics on the evolution of virtual care including: broadband, telehealth/virtual care, reimbursement, and financial sustainability.

Intro to Telehealth / Virtual Care Basics: This session will provide background information on the evolution of telehealth prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, and constrast that with the rapid changes that have occurred in the field during the pandemic.
Broadband & Broadband Resources: This session will provide background information on broadband efforts across the United States along with a focus on resources for both healthcare organizations and consumers in bridging the digital divide.
Community Health Needs Assessments: This session will provide an overview of what a Community Health Needs Assessment is, how to conduct one, and insight that can be gained for your healthcare organization.
Workflow - Incorporating the Culture of Telehealth into Your Organization: This session will focus on workflows and processes that can be used to incorporate telehealth modalities into your organization's care delivery methodologies.
Policy and Reimbursement – Medicare: This session will provide an overview of telehealth reimbursement for Medicare Beneficiaries with a focus on the changes that have occurred during the pandemic.
Policy and Reimbursement – Ohio Medicaid: This session will provide an overview of the current telehealth reimbursement for Ohio Medicaid that have occurred during the pandemic.
Financial Sustainability: This session will explore different cost savings and revenue generating examples to ensure that your organization's telehealth program will be financially sustainable.
Telebehavioral Health: This session will provide examples of successful telebehavioral health programs and the methodologies behind them.
Telehealth with Patients at Home: This session will focus on best practices for engaging with your patients while they are at home.
Telehealth Role Play Simulations: This session will provide an opportunity for attendees to practice their videoconferencing skills as a provider or a patient.
