In addition proper techniques and essential needs to prepare the patients in the facility settings for their upcoming telehealth encounter.

Sandi Wagner, RN, MBA, BSN is the Network Director of Telemedicine for Lutheran Health Network located in North Indiana. Sandi has worked in healthcare for over 19 years in various roles including: Critical Care, Management, Program Manager, and Director of Telemedicine
Sandi has been a registered nurse for over 19 years and began her career after earning an Associate of Science in Nursing from Southwestern Adventist University in 2001. In 2011, she obtained a Bachelor's of Applied Arts and Sciences Degree from The University of North Texas. In 2016, Sandi received a Master Certificate in Business Management and in May of 2017, she received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from The University of Texas Arlington and then received her Masters in Business Administration from Capella University in 2019. Presently, Sandi is continuing her education by pursuing a Master's Healthcare Leadership.
Driven by a great passion and belief that every patient deserves the best care possible, regardless of location, Sandi is committed to the development and growth of Telemedicine. She took the lead in developing and implementing, in under a year's time, a multi-specialty Telemedicine program for a multi-facility healthcare system. Sandi is presently the Network Director of Telemedicine at Lutheran Health Network
Sandi has helped lead a team to be the first in Texas to obtain the Joint Commission Acute Stroke Ready Certification. And among the first to obtain the Telemedicine Accreditation from ClearHealth Quality Institute. Additionally, under Sandi's leadership, her team has participated in an Institutional Review Board research study of stroke door-to-needle times. Sandi has presented at multiple national conferences on the topic of development and implementation for Telemedicine. Sandi's unique background in Healthcare bespeaks her focus on the delivery of quality care and improved outcomes to all we serve.
