Speaker:

Nicole Watkins, MPH, CRHCP

Growing up around rural areas in central southwestern Indiana, I have a true appreciation of rural beauty and challenges. With an interest in healthcare, I started working in healthcare compliance while obtaining a bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University in Health Administration with a minor in Business Administration. After recognizing my passion for public health and rural health, I moved to working with rural health-focused grants while earning a Master of Public Health degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. I also recently earned my Certified Rural Health Clinic Professional certification from the National Association of Rural Health Clinics. I have been working on maternal and child health grants since 2018 and am truly excited about the opportunity to share an the innovative model of community paramedicine.
