Event Overview
The Indiana Arts Commission’s Lifelong Arts program is a replicable, evidence-based model designed to combat social isolation and improve mental health outcomes among older adults. By leveraging local artists and community resources, this initiative strengthens cross-sector collaboration in rural communities.
During this session, participants will explore program outcomes analyzed by the Center for Aging & Community (CAC), with a focus on measurable impact and sustainability. Attendees will gain a practical blueprint for developing and scaling arts-based programming—from painting and visual arts to theater and performance—within resource-limited rural settings.
