Investments in Virtual Care Technology

We hope you all have been able to stay safe and warm during this cold and snowy season of the year. As we kickoff the new year we have seen major investments in virtual care technology. Read more about the investments and what this may mean for the future at the UMTRC’s blog here.

During the month of January, we kicked off our second season of our podcast “A Virtual View” with an episode featuring Telehealth Unmuted talking about the development of our telehealth podcasts. During the month of February, we will be releasing an episode on the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month. The first episode of the month focuses on Provider Burnout and the second on Community Paramedicine. If you haven’t listened to our latest episodes or are interested in the upcoming episodes, please listen to it here.

Additionally, our virtual view podcast has a new design so do not be surprised by the new look!

As the United States went into a full calendar year wrestling with the COVID-19 pandemic, the NCTRC continued to rise to the challenge of addressing the nation’s need for telehealth technical assistance. Learn more about the roles each TRC plays and the impact they have had in their regions in the 2021 NCTRC Annual Report.
