During the month of May, we took a brief break from posting on our podcast, but we are back in June! In June, two new podcast episodes will be released on the first and third Friday of the month. One will be focused on Tele-Pharmacy and the other will be with Tim Putnam who worked on President Biden’s COVID-19 equity task force and previously served as the President and CEO of Margaret Mary Hospital in Indiana for over a decade. IHCP announces final 2022 telehealth and virtual services code set
The Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) will be using an updated telehealth and virtual services code set for the remainder of 2022. Services that are delivered via telehealth will continue to be reimbursed at the same reimbursement rates as if the service were delivered in person. The new code set is in effect for dates of service on or after July 21, 2022, and will expire at the end of 2022. It will be reevaluated for 2023.

TelehealthLocator Data Collection Now Live!
We are excited to share that the development of a new public facing tool, TelehealthLocator, is underway! TelehealthLocator will provide a single point of access to view and overlay gaps in access to care, broadband, and telehealth availability by service type. WIM Tracking, in collaboration with the TelehealthLocator TRCs, is working to determine what telehealth services are offered across a 24-state and 6 territory region, including the UMTRC region.

Telehealth's five-year plan? $20 billion, maybe A new report from Bloomberg Intelligence predicted that the telehealth sector could bring in $20 billion in U.S. revenue by 2027.
"The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the adoption of telehealth by years, providing safe and convenient access to telehealth services," said Duane Wright, senior research analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence. But others are taking a more measured view. A different report from Trilliant Health says telehealth post-pandemic supply will outpace demand.
